These images demonstrate the detailed microscopic appearances of the small cell (SmC) papillary carcinomas typical of the ras transgene (left), the large cell (LC) myc transgene (middle) and the nodular (NOD) or intermediate cell neu transgene (right). Nodular tumors have solid nests of cells and tend to have a peripheral pallisade of tumor cells.
