Slide 36. This is a longitudinal histological section of an extralobular terminal duct. There is DCIS, micropapillary pattern. Necrotic debris is pink and contains enough calcium to be visible on mammograms as granular calcifications ("crushed stone", or "sand"). Hematoxylin and eosin stain.
