Slide 26. Corresponding histology of slide 25 showing the acinus indicated by the double arrow. There is hyperplasia of epithelial cells which partially fill the lumen. The basal layer is maintained, polarity is partly lost and loose cribriform pattern is evident.
Nuclei are relatively uniform and without hyperchromasia or pleomorphism. The diagnosis is ALA, grade 3. Hematoxylin and eosin stain.
