25. SUBGROSS OF ABNORMAL TDLUs
LEGEND
Slide 25. This subgross photograph shows three lobular formations which differ cytologically. L-1 is a lobule with cystically dilated acini and is without atypia. L-2 has thickened epithelium (arrow) and is an ALA, grade 2, as determined by the corresponding histology slide. One acinus (double arrow) of L-3 is mostly filled with hyperplastic epithelium. On the basis of the corresponding histology (slide 26) this lobule is classified as an ALA, grade 3.
There is a suggestion of cribriform and papillary pattern. Hematoxylin stain.
